How We Make Your Star Map
After you have entered the location and time of your special moment in the editor, our software calculates the part of the night sky visible at this location.
Since the earth moves once around the sun in the course of a year, different sections of the night sky can be seen at any time.
In the second step the stars are drawn on your star map: Our software knows the position and brightness of all stars visible to the naked eye and places them in the right place in your night sky.
The great thing is that you can not only design the night sky of your child's birth a year ago, but also the night sky of any future event, for instance your best friend's wedding night in three weeks.
